Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

  • 4:1 supervision only - medically directed anesthesia care

  • Must be able to run own room independently when necessary

  • Work in 19 operating rooms, 5 endoscopy rooms, and 1 maternity suite

  • Coverage needed May 4-8 and May 11-15 with call coverage 1-2 days during the week

  • Schedule: 6am start for orientation first day only, then 7am-3pm unless asked to stay for add-on cases

  • Provide anesthesia for cardiac, complete orthopedic, complex vascular, obstetrical, pediatric, regional, and thoracic surgeries

  • Perform general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients

  • Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia

  • Handle obstetrical cases and open heart anesthesia

  • Manage complex vascular and orthopedic cases

  • Provide post-operative epidural and extremity blocks

  • Perform epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions

  • Conduct transforaminal injections with x-ray guidance

  • Manage ventilation, central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheter placement

  • Supervise CRNAs and evaluate acute volume/BP management

  • Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
