Opportunity:
Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
* 4:1 supervision only - medically directed anesthesia care
* Must be able to run own room independently when necessary
* Work in 19 operating rooms, 5 endoscopy rooms, and 1 maternity suite
* Coverage needed May 4-8 and May 11-15 with call coverage 1-2 days during the week
* Schedule: 6am start for orientation first day only, then 7am-3pm unless asked to stay for add-on cases
* Provide anesthesia for cardiac, complete orthopedic, complex vascular, obstetrical, pediatric, regional, and thoracic surgeries
* Perform general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
* Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
* Handle obstetrical cases and open heart anesthesia
* Manage complex vascular and orthopedic cases
* Provide post-operative epidural and extremity blocks
* Perform epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions
* Conduct transforaminal injections with x-ray guidance
* Manage ventilation, central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheter placement
* Supervise CRNAs and evaluate acute volume/BP management
* Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
