Position Summary
The

Camera Operator

will capture live footage during concerts, corporate meetings and rentals. This role is essential in delivering high-quality video content for our guests and clients.

This role pays an hourly rate of $40.00.

About The Venue
Saint Louis Music Park

is a 4,500-seat outdoor venue that hosts concerts, festivals, corporate events, and more. Performers have included Alicia Keys, Chappel Roan, Benson Boone, The Avett Brothers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Jack White, BUSH, O.A.R and many more. It offers an intimate outdoor amphitheater experience and boasts a fan-centric pavilion featuring food trucks, picnic tables, yard games, and more.

Centene Community Ice Center

is a state-of-the-art facility designed for hockey programming that is curated for all ages and skill levels. It houses three sheets of ice year-round and also features an outdoor rink for use in winter months. It is the official practice facility for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL) and serves as the home rink for Lindenwood University (NCAA DI). Alongside hockey development programs, the facility also offers freestyle skating and daily public skate sessions providing a unique experience for locals to get on the ice.

Responsibilities

Operate handheld or fixed-position cameras during concerts and special events.

Follow live action and execute assigned shots with accuracy and creativity.

Collaborate with the production crew to execute live show elements.

Assist with setup and breakdown of camera equipment before and after events.

Maintain camera equipment and report any technical issues.

Ensure all footage is steady, focused, and framed according to production standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience operating video cameras in a live event or sports setting.

Strong understanding of basic camera functions such as focus, zoom, and framing.

Ability to follow direction in a fast-paced, live environment.

Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to the home game schedule.

Ability to lift and carry camera equipment as needed.
