Position Description
Ryder is hiring Full Time Permanent Forklift Operating Material Handlers in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Compensation & Schedule
Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly.
Hourly Pay $20.33 per hour
Overtime Pay $30.50 per hour
Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift
Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

Products Being Handled: Automotive parts and supplies. Equipment Being Used: Sit Down Forklift, tuggers.

Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Responsible for accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
Provide technical and maintenance support for aspects of the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Team‑player who can work within a diverse work environment.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
Highly thorough and dependable.
Good attendance and punctuality.
Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
High initiative and strong accuracy under pressure.
Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Adheres to health and safety methods.
Available for a flexible schedule across multiple shifts.
Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
