Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Full Time Permanent Warehouse Associate / Kitters in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Pay and Schedule
Hourly Pay $20.33 per hour
Overtime Pay $30.50 per hour
Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift
Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Six months of related warehouse experience required
One year or more of related warehouse experience preferred
Must be able to operate and maintain powered industrial trucks (stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.)
Powered industrial truck certification required
Ability to read, apply basic math, and use safety work instructions, policies, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Ability to input data into the WMS computer system
Work overtime as assigned
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptability and self-driven in fast paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Responsibilities
Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.
Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, ensuring scanning is completed correctly.
Assist in training dock employees on new procedures.
Secure the facility at end of shift; investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.
Perform picking and packing duties.
Check for evidence of product or container damage.
Follow location’s policies and procedures for handling materials and transactions.
Perform material moves with associated physical or logical transactions.
Participate in workgroup and team activities for self improvement and warehouse operations improvement.
Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
