Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Provide user support using active listening to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues; accurately document all client interactions within the service management system.

Deploy and configure computers and peripheral equipment in offices, labs, and classrooms, ensuring functionality upon setup.

Assist with assembly, disassembly, and physical transport of computer systems and related hardware.

Conduct physical inventory audits and maintain data accuracy using spreadsheets to cross-check university assets.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive data and adhere to university best practices for cybersecurity and privacy.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

Ability to communicate clearly and document technical solutions effectively for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven ability to follow established protocols and execute detailed instructions accurately.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

A high degree of punctuality and dependability.

A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of both Windows and Mac OS platforms.

Familiarity with tablets, mobile devices, and basic networking concepts.

Experience with hardware setup, including docking stations, monitors, and cable management.

A logical approach to problem solving and technical troubleshooting.

A current valid driver’s license.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
