Snowflake Lead Developer

Responsibilities
- Support data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Architect, design and operationalize large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Write SQL queries against Snowflake and develop Python scripts to extract, load, and transform data.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of software development experience, and minimum 5 years of experience on Snowflake development in AWS.
- Solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
- In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modelling structure principles.
- Understanding data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done.
- Experience in Data warehousing – OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modelling.
- Experience gathering and analysing system requirements.
- Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using a combination of Python and SnowSQL.
- Writing SQL queries against Snowflake.
