- Call Schedule: Rotational
- Call Ratio: 1:4
- Inpatient OR coverage
- Trauma Level II
- Adult patient population
- EMR: Epic
- Primary duty is assisting in surgery
- Average patient volume: 4-8 patients per day
- Physician present in the OR
- APP autonomy: No
- Central venous catheter placement
- Dialysis catheter placement
- Arterial line placement
- Intra-aortic balloon pump placement
- Retrieval of vascular tissue for bypass conduit
- Endoscopic vein harvesting
- Chest tube insertions
- Thoracentesis
- NCCPA Certification - Required
- Active Michigan license prior to assignment - Required(No pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 1 year Cardiothoracic OR experience - Required
- No new graduates accepted
- Robotic experience - Preferred but not required
- ACLS & BLS through AHA - Required
