Job Opportunity – IT Support Specialist with VEGA America in Mason, OH.
The IT Support Specialist installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical assistance and training to system users. This role maintains the intranet website, report portal, and administers and maintains Active Directory.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance of all internal website for both content and navigation.
Maintenance of the Active Directory and administration of all related data.
Maintenance of online reports and the report portal.
Maintenance of software and telecommunications services such as personal computers, system software, software applications, printers, and modems.
Maintenance of the intranet site and assistance to users in delivering content to the site.
Collection of data sets for internal users and formatting of reports based on that data.
Inspection of personal computer equipment and reading order sheets to prepare microcomputers for delivery.
Installation or assistance in the installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user premises.
Loading specified software packages such as operating systems, word processing, or spreadsheet programs into computers; installation and testing of software upgrades.
Entering commands and observing system functions to verify correct operation.
Responding to requests and questions of network users concerning system operation, access to resources on the network, and operation of software programs.
Diagnosing system hardware, software, and operator problems, replacing defective or inadequate software packages, and referring major hardware problems to manager for correction.
Training users on software and equipment usage.
Recommending or performing minor remedial actions to correct problems.
Providing updates, status, and completion information to manager, problem request tracking system, and/or users via voicemail, e-mail, or in-person communication.
Requirements
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
One (1) year of related experience and/or training.
Audio‑visual (AV) experience is preferred but not required.
