Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney, based in Melville, NY. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for drafting legal documents, providing legal advice, conducting legal research, and managing cases in various stages of litigation and arbitration. The role also involves engaging in negotiations and staying updated on Personal Injury and Insurance Defense law to support our client's needs effectively.
Qualifications
Experience in providing legal advice and conducting thorough research
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage settlements or resolutions effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active bar admission or awaiting admission
Prior experience in litigation or insurance law is a plus
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
