Locums Hematology/Oncology Clinic + Call Richmond, VA Why This Role Primarily inpatient oncology coverage with manageable daily census Opportunity to oversee experienced NP support Academic-oriented environment with research enrollment participation Epic EMR with established oncology service line Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Schedule: Monday-Friday weekly coverage; April coverage needed with ongoing potential Patients per Day: 12-15 inpatient; limited outpatient coverage during physician vacation Call Details: Call required; details to be provided EMR: Epic Requirements Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Active Virginia license ACLS and BLS Clean history NPDB at name clear Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Clinical Details Scope: Inpatient and outpatient hematology and medical oncology coverage including oversight of NP and participation in research enrollment Typical Procedures: Management of solid tumor malignancies Hematologic malignancy management Chemotherapy ordering and management Inpatient oncology consults Treatment plan development Research study patient enrollment Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
