Locums NP Äì Hematology/Oncology Clinic + Call South Carolina Why This Role
- Mix of outpatient oncology and inpatient rounding
- Established cancer center with strong physician and APP support
- Balanced hematology (65%) and oncology (35%) case mix
- Travel fully covered Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: September 2026
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Free-standing cancer center + inpatient rounding
- Schedule: TBD (clinic + rotating call)
- EMR: Epic
- Outpatient Volume: 15/day
- Inpatient (call/rounding): 20/day
- Call: - Tues 4:30p Äì8a - Fri 4:30p ÄìMon 8a (includes weekend rounding) - Rotation: every 5 Äì6 weeks
- Credentialing: 60 days Requirements
- Board Certified NP (Hematology/Oncology)
- Active SC license (or willing to obtain)
- BLS and DEA
- NPDB self-query (within 30 days) Clinical Details
- Outpatient hematology and oncology care
- Inpatient rounding during call coverage
- Manage bone marrow transplant patients
- Order tests, imaging, and prescribe treatments
- Coordinate with oncology nursing team (chemo administered by RN)
- First call for patient and hospital phone consults
- Adult and geriatric patient population Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel/Lodging: Covered (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage)
