Inpatient Psychiatrist - Full Time (40 Hours/Week)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist for a full-time, on-site opportunity in a residential/inpatient setting. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients, including those with dual diagnoses, in a structured clinical environment.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week

• Monday - Friday

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• No on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing patient care

• Perform face-to-face assessments and develop treatment plans

• Manage and treat adult patients with mental health and dual diagnoses

• Respond to emergency situations, including patient restraints when necessary

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical standards

• Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician in the State of Texas

• Experience working with adult psychiatric populations

• Experience with dual diagnosis cases preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active Texas Medical License (in good standing)

• Active DEA Certification

• Credentialing with affiliated hospitals (as required)

• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association approved)

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
