
Staff Systems Engineer / Product Owner - Clearance Required

About the Role
In this important role you will lead a SCRUM Team as Product Owner. You will prioritize backlog, set sprint goals, and accept work based on acceptance criteria defined by the Lead Product Owner.
Responsibilities
Prioritize the backlog to deliver the most value.
Set the Sprint Goal for the team and accept work based on Acceptance Criteria defined by the Lead Product Owner.
Review customer requirements to fully understand the operational scope of the requirement, provide feedback to the customer, and guide product development to ensure operational needs are met.
Develop and execute test plans and procedures in order to prepare and assess system readiness both in‑plant and in the field at customer sites.
Test and validate the system throughout the product development phase, identifying defects, providing test data for analysis, proposing solutions, and verifying implemented solutions to ensure a quality product.
Participate actively in an agile development environment.
Develop and document system architectures and interfaces based on stakeholder requirements and system specifications.
Assist in creating plans for system verification to ensure designs meet operational needs.
Basic Qualifications
Current or active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Current security clearance investigation within 5 years from investigation close date.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
Experience as a Product Owner.
Experience with testing and problem solving for integrated systems.
Experience in Systems Engineering life cycle process.
Desired Skills
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Proven ability to develop solutions to complex technical problems.
Experience with software testing and use of test automation tools (e.g., Eggplant, TWIN).
Experience in creating use cases and test scenarios.
Security Clearance Statement
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
