About the TECH360 Program:
The TECH360: Intro to AI Program is a 3‑week summer bootcamp designed to introduce high school students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence through engaging, project‑based learning. As AI rapidly transforms industries and everyday life, this program helps students understand how AI works, explore its real‑world applications, and develop the skills needed to use it confidently and ethically.
Where did AI come from and why is it trending now?
What are the exciting possibilities and challenges presented by AI technology?
How are generative and predictive AI models developed?
What data science and machine learning concepts power AI systems?
How can AI tools be used effectively and responsibly?
What skills are essential for success in the age of AI?
The program culminates in a final group project where students pitch an original AI‑powered tool to mock clients. Top‑selected teams will be invited to showcase their work at our Future Innovators Night in front of an audience of tech industry professionals.

We’re looking for passionate and engaging instructors to lead our TECH360: Intro to AI program this summer. You’ll support a cohort of 30–35 students in building foundational AI knowledge while fostering the creativity, curiosity, and confidence they need to lead in tomorrow’s world of technology and innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Curriculum Prep and Instruction
Review AOT’s TECH360 curriculum on a weekly and daily basis to ensure command of material
Prep auxiliary activities or examples to bring the content to life for students
Lead all content sessions, paying particular attention to student engagement
Work with the program manager to develop remediation plans to support student content mastery
Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported in their learning journey
Data Management
Ensure complete student submission of all program assignments and projects
Assess student projects and assignments using AOT‑developed rubrics, providing regular written and verbal feedback
Submit weekly feedback form on curriculum and program implementation
Provide summary data on key metrics for program reports
General
Uphold AOT’s core values in all aspects of the role
Foster and maintain a positive and welcoming classroom environment for all program participants and partners
Attend daily check‑in meetings with the program manager and peer mentors to ensure alignment ahead of the day’s session
Attend weekly meetings with the Program Team to discuss program impact and to troubleshoot any challenges
Complete any additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will show up each day excited to support students to success, doing whatever it takes to ensure a dynamic, encouraging, and successful program experience for all. Ideal candidates also have:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Education, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts, including:
Data Science
Algorithmic bias
AI ethics
AI Literacy
Prompt Engineering
• Experience with AI tools such as:
Teachable Machine
Google Colab
Poe (AI chatbot builder)
Large Language Models (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)
• Familiarity with AI model development and applications in industry settings.
• Awareness of emerging AI trends and real‑world applications.
• Understanding of AI’s impact on industries such as technology, business, and education.
• Ability to teach students AI literacy and ethical AI usage.
• Strong facilitation skills for engaging students in meaningful discussion that furthers their learning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to foster an inclusive, engaging, and interactive learning environment.
• The ability to provide constructive feedback and assess student progress.
• Strong organizational skills for managing course schedules and assignments.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, especially Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Slides, Google Sheets and Google Classroom.
• A reliable laptop/desktop with a webcam, working audio, and internet speeds that exceed the minimum requirements for hosting a Zoom meeting.
