Job Title: Quality Control Inspector – Welded Products
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support inspection of welded components in a manufacturing/job shop setting. This is a hands-on position requiring work on the production floor and regular interaction with fabrication teams.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect welded parts and assemblies for quality and conformance
Review weld appearance, fit-up, and overall workmanship against drawings and specifications
Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to production personnel
Use inspection tools such as calipers, tape measures, and weld gauges
Perform in-process and final inspections in a fast-paced shop environment
Qualifications
Experience inspecting welded products in a QC role
Knowledge of visual weld inspection standards and acceptance criteria
Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing instructions
Comfortable working in a physical, industrial environment
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
CWI certification or related experience preferred
