Required Skills: Board Certification in Cardiology (Non-Invasive) Proficiency in performing and interpreting EKGs Experience with EPIC EMR system Ability to supervise and collaborate with healthcare providers Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in inpatient and outpatient settings Familiarity with hospital-based cardiology practices Prior locum or temporary staffing experience Additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship cardiology practice Prior experience within hospital settings is advantageous Other Requirements: Current medical licensure in Virginia or eligibility for licensure Ability to work full-time locally from April 9, 2026, with coverage from ASAP until onboarding Credentialing estimated to take approximately 120 days Travel and licensing reimbursements available as applicable This is a fantastic chance to contribute to vital patient care in a reputable healthcare environment while enjoying competitive compensation at $19.50 per hour, weekly pay via direct deposit, and comprehensive benefits.
