Join Our Prestigious Team as an Internal Medicine - Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Specialist Are you a dedicated cardiologist with expertise in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care? This role offers an exceptional chance to work at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital and Community Hospital North, both situated on the North campus and connected locations, providing a collaborative environment for advanced cardiology practice. You will support an almost exclusively inpatient setting, collaborating closely with APP support and hospitalist services, managing a diverse patient population with a focus on heart failure consultations and VAD support. The position requires a minimum availability of two weeks per month, with flexibility for locum-to-perm arrangements. Please note that transplant procedures are not performed at this facility. Competitive Benefits: Attractive hourly pay rate of $1.00 Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other applicable expenses Required Skills: Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology, with subspecialty training or experience in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Proven competence in inpatient cardiology management, especially heart failure and VAD support Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle a fast-paced inpatient environment efficiently Nice to Have Skills: Experience in transplant cardiology (though not mandatory) Subspecialty certifications related to heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or mechanical circulatory support Prior experience working with APPs and hospitalist teams Familiarity with the latest heart failure guidelines and VAD management Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Advanced training in cardiology, with fellowship in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Minimum of 2-3 years of inpatient cardiology experience, ideally in an academic or high-volume hospital setting Other Requirements: Valid medical license to practice in the state Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Ability to work a minimum of two weeks per month Willingness to support open to locum-to-perm transition if desired Ready to advance your career in a innovative and supportive environment?
