Hospitalist Pediatric Physician Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Hospitalist Pediatric Physician and make a meaningful impact by providing essential inpatient and neonatal care during critical weekend coverage periods. Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient pediatric care including newborn nursery, ER coverage, and inpatient med-ped units. Respond to calls from hotel or home within a 30-minute window; handle communication efficiently. Round once daily on inpatient units and newborn nursery weekends. Stabilize infants requiring emergency interventions such as intubation and line placement. Manage small patient volumes with minimal inpatient activity typically 1-2 children and around 5 newborns per weekend. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Skills: Pediatric training and experience, including neonatal stabilization procedures. Ability to perform intubation and place lines. Strong clinical judgment and telephonic communication skills. Flexibility to work 24-hour shifts on weekends, with readiness to respond promptly. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Nice to Have Skills: Pediatric board certification or eligibility. Prior pediatric hospitalist or neonatal intensive care experience. Familiarity with remote call management and stabilization protocols. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board eligibility or certification in pediatrics. Recent graduates are welcome; previous hospitalist experience is a plus. Licensure in Arkansas or ability to obtain licensure promptly (license not required for this urgent coverage). Other Requirements: No in-house coverage; ability to work remotely from hotel or home. Willingness to start and complete assigned coverage dates: June 5-8, 2026, and June 19-22, 2026. No travel or additional reimbursements required beyond licensure and certification. Must be able to provide case logs and licensure to expedite credentialing, which can be completed in 3-4 weeks.
