We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surgery Vascular Physician Assistant to provide expert clinical support in a reputable hospital setting. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with experienced vascular surgeons, deliver exceptional patient care, and impact lives positively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hospital rounds and outpatient clinic visits within the vascular surgery department.
  • Manage a patient caseload of approximately 15 patients daily, including consultations and follow-ups.
  • Assist with vascular procedures such as bypass surgeries and amputations.
  • Document patient encounters accurately using EPIC EMR.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care from admission through discharge.
  • Provide patient education and support throughout treatment plans.

Required Skills:
  • Certified Physician Assistant (PA) with valid license.
  • DEA registration.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in vascular surgery or related field.
  • Strong clinical skills in vascular procedures, patient assessment, and management.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with EPIC EMR.
  • Prior involvement in hospital-based vascular procedures.
  • Ability to navigate complex patient cases with minimal supervision.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Certification or board eligibility in vascular surgery or related specialization.
  • Proven experience in hospital outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for ongoing contract starting June 1, 2026, with scheduled shifts primarily Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Willingness to travel for licensure or credentialing purposes, as needed.
  • Credentialing completion within 90 days; temporary privileges available for qualified candidates with a clean file.
