Job Overview
A seasonal, part‑time Tasting Room Back of House Assistant position in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. The role serves as an ambassador of the company, exemplifying excellence in customer service and ensuring that every guest feels a genuine connection with the winery.
This seasonal, part‑time hourly role is eligible for tips and runs from May through October, requiring evenings and weekends to support the Summer Concert Series.
Responsibilities
Clear tables after use, wipe down tables, refill waters and crackers.
Wash and buff glassware and other dishware items.
Replenish wine, merchandise, and other items as needed to help with shift operations.
General housekeeping duties to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the tasting room.
Assist with completion of food orders according to presentation guidelines.
Assist with all aspects of winery and private event setup, execution, and teardown as directed by management.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Position Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Food Handler's Permit required.
Strong communication, customer service, sales skills, and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Goal orientated and able to work as part of a team.
Must be flexible and available to work varied hours.
History of responsible use of alcohol and appropriate conduct, and fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
Compensation
$17.13 – $20.05 per hour based on experience.
