Locums - Ronceverte, West Virginia - Cardiologist Job (IMLC Accepted / Willing to License)Assignment Details
- Start Date: June 1, 2026
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Call Coverage: 24/7 call
- 4-5 consults per day
- 1-2 after-hours calls per day
- Hospital-based General Cardiology
- Hospital Bed Size: 122 beds
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: MA's and 1 RN
- Potential full-time coverage or 2-3 weeks per month
- Outpatient clinic care
- Inpatient consults
- Diagnostic test supervision
- Cardiology interpretation and management
- Full clinic days: 20-25 patients/day
- Split days (clinic + testing):
- 4-6 tests in the morning
- 12-15 patients in the afternoon
- Majority of patients age 50+
- Nuclear medicine stress testing (perform and interpret)
- Exercise stress testing
- EKG interpretation
- Echocardiography
- TEE
- Board Certified in Cardiology - Required
- Active West Virginia license (or IMLC / WV temp license accepted) - Required
- DEA - Required
- BLS, ACLS, TEE certification - Required
- Willing to license - Required/Accepted
- 30-45 days
