Material Handler

Essential Functions
Performs day-to-day operation of material handling through use of forklift. This includes moving raw materials, finished goods, work in process (WIP), materials throughout the production floor, accurately completes paperwork associated with incoming product and customer shipments. Participate in cycle counts and inventory as directed. Safely operates sit-down rider and electric motor hand carts. Operate overhead bridge crane as needed.
80% Perform day-to-day operations of material handling throughout production floor.
10% Complete required paperwork regarding incoming product and customer shipments.
5% Participate in cycle counts and inventory as directed.
5% Other duties as assigned.
Must complete required training for forklift and overhead bridge crane operations. Ensure safety, quality and efficiency standards are being met.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Previous forklift experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment if preferred
Physical Demands
Lift/Carry – 10 lbs or less (Frequently), 11-20 lbs (Frequently), 21-50 lbs (Frequently), 51-100 lbs (Occasionally), Over 100 lbs (Not applicable). Push/Pull – 12 lbs or less (Occasionally), 13-25 lbs (Occasionally), 26-40 lbs (Occasionally), 41-100 lbs (Occasionally). Other demands: Reach Outward, Reach Above Shoulder, Climb, Bend, Squat or Kneel.
Other Physical Requirements: Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (High visibility clothing, ear protection, safety glasses, steel toe shoes/boots).
Work Environment
We run a 24/7 auto parts manufacturing plant, where we do CNC machine work for CV Joints/HUBs.
