Summary / Duties

This Financial Analyst II provides LOA coverage for the Client Division, supporting a high-volume portfolio of 7 ambulatory surgery centers and 2 holding companies.
The role is responsible for monthly close, financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a strong focus on maintaining accuracy during a critical period that includes budget season, year-end close, and board reporting cycles.
The analyst partners with leadership to deliver insights, support operating and capital budgets, and ensure timely reporting for governing body and board meetings.
Responsibilities include maintaining financial systems, reconciling data, supporting benchmarking, and assisting with audit activities while helping reduce team capacity constraints and workload risk.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of recent financial analysis experience
Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Experience supporting month‑end close, operating and capital budgets
Proficiency in Excel and financial systems for modeling, reporting, and data analysis
Knowledge of GAAP and financial operations processes
Experience managing multiple entities or business units (e.g., ASCs, holding companies)
Ability to analyze large datasets and support leadership with actionable insights
Preferred Requirements

Experience in healthcare finance or ambulatory surgery center (ASC) environment
Experience supporting board or governing body reporting
Experience with benchmarking and performance analysis
Experience with financial modeling, templates, and decision support tools
Ability to support audit activities and financial documentation
Experience collaborating with accounting teams on reconciliations and reporting issues
