Analyst/Associate: Data, Operations Insights

Levoca, Miami, FL, United States

About Levoca
Levoca is an advisory firm working on outcomes-based finance, blended finance, impact measurement, and related strategies to improve how finance supports better social and development outcomes.

We work with a range of partners across international development, philanthropy, and finance. Our work combines strategy, analysis, delivery support, and practical problem-solving.

We are a small team that operates with a high degree of trust and autonomy. We hire unusually capable people, give them real context and real ownership, and expect strong judgment in return. We care about the quality of the work and the outcomes it drives.

The Role
We are hiring an Analyst / Associate, Operations, Data & Insights to strengthen the analytical and operational backbone of the firm.

This is an early-career role with a strong analytical core, but we are not looking for a task-taker. You will own real pieces of the work — dashboards, analyses, proposal inputs, project coordination — and we will give you the context you need to make good calls without being told what to do next. Over time, we expect the person in this role to grow into a broader contributor as they build judgment on the policy and development-finance substance of the work.

If you want a detailed playbook for every task, this is not the right role. If you want to be trusted with real work early and held to a high bar, read on.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will flex with the firm's priorities. We expect the person in this role to own the outcomes below — not just complete the tasks — and to raise their hand when something could be done better, faster, or not at all.

Prepare research summaries, slide inputs, and short written materials and presentations

Support proposal development through data gathering, visuals, drafting support, and market intelligence

Provide project coordination support, including workplan tracking, note-taking, follow‑up, scheduling, and preparation of materials

Support performance management, reporting, and data analysis across client work and internal priorities

Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools in off‑the‑shelf data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.)

Clean, organize, and analyze datasets to support advisory work, the Pipeline Report, and other projects

Support the development of financial models in Excel

Support KPI development, indicator tracking, and performance measurement work

Conduct AI‑enabled desk research, market scans, and targeted synthesis to support client delivery and business development

Support selected communications, website, and content tasks where needed

Support event‑related coordination and logistics, including the OFA Summit

Help improve recurring workflows through better templates, automation, and process improvement

Required Qualifications

2–4 years of relevant experience in analytics, research, consulting, data and reporting, impact measurement, development finance, international development, or a related field

Strong skills in Excel and data visualization

Experience working with large datasets and willingness to learn about digital data collection

Strong analytical skills and comfort working with messy or incomplete data

Interest in international development and the broader policy and institutional context of Levoca’s work

Willingness to support a range of tasks, from analytics and research to coordination and team support

Excellent written English and ability to communicate findings clearly in slides and short written summaries

Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through

Curiosity about AI tools and workflow improvement

Authorization to work in the United States and willingness to be based full‑time in Miami

Advanced inter‑personal skills and good sense of humor that can regularly incorporate feedback into work processes and personal development

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with at least one programming language or software for data wrangling/cleaning (e.g. python, SQL, R, Stata)

Experience supporting performance management, MEL, reporting, or similar workflows

Experience supporting proposals, research, project coordination, or client materials

Additional language skills (Spanish, French, Portuguese or Indonesian preferred)

What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months

You own dashboards, reporting, and core data work end‑to‑end — the team trusts the outputs and does not need to check them.

Performance management and analytics improve on your watch: better data, better questions, better decisions downstream.

Proposals, research, and project coordination are visibly stronger because you can flex across priorities without dropping quality.

The OFA Summit and other cross‑team work run smoother because you are in the mix.

At least two recurring workflows are meaningfully better — faster, more automated, less error‑prone — because you rebuilt them.

You have started making advisory‑side contributions: not just executing but shaping how the work gets framed.
