Senior Accountant

Responsibilities
Own the monthly close process for two smaller operating companies, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Assist with corporate consolidation activities, including preparation of consolidation entries and support for reporting packages
Prepare monthly financial reporting and provide variance commentary for assigned entities
Support budgeting and forecasting processes for smaller operating companies
Partner with local management teams to provide financial insight and practical recommendations
Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-3 years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), core accounting principles, and monthly close activities
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage responsibilities with limited oversight
NetSuite, QuickBooks, and/or Planful experience is a plus!
Interest in pursuing a CPA, CMA, or other professional credentials a plus!
