Accountant
Smaller, well-established industrial company, privately owned, has a new permanent opportunity for an Accountant. Position reports to the Controller with lots of opportunity to learn, take on more, grow. The Accountant will support senior leadership on a broad range of accounting and finance work including monthly financial/management reporting, ME close, inventory analysis, and reviewing complex billing. 40-hour work week, flexible family culture, flexible hours with healthcare, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and additional benefits.
Approximate Salary: 65,000-85,000 per year + Bonus - Depending on experience

Responsibilities of the Accountant:
- Assist with the close process, prepare reconciliations and closing entries
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial/managerial statements
- Perform variance analyses, ad hoc analysis
- Assist in overseeing, developing, and ensuring compliance for accounting procedures and internal controls
- Providing support, completing special projects and providing ad-hoc reports to management
- Assist in and being a key resource for the physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with standard costing and customer pricing calculations
- Review/provide support to AR/AP/billing
Experience for the Accountant:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business or related
- General accounting experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, products or related preferred
- Positive attitude and eager to learn, grow and take on more
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
- ERP systems experience/interest in technology
- Comfortable working in a plant/factory environment
