Key Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant

• Own monthly close activities and prepare financial reports and variance analysis


• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules


• Assist with audits and work with external accounting and tax partners


• Support budgeting, forecasting, and system or process improvements

Ideal Background for the Senior Staff Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required


• 3+ years of accounting experience in a Senior or Staff Accountant role


• Working knowledge of GAAP and strong Excel skills


• CPA Preferred
