Staff Accountant
Location: Markle, IN (Fully On-Site)
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support core accounting functions and assist with Accounts Receivable activities in a growing organization. The Staff Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, support financial reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP. Key Responsibilities

• The Staff Accountant maintains accurate books, ledgers, and general ledger accounts


• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow reports


• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls


• The Staff Accountant analyzes financial data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities


• Provide data-driven financial insights and recommendations to management


• Generate and send customer invoices, process payments, and prepare bank deposits


• The Staff Accountant reconciles customer accounts, AR ledgers, and bank statements


• Prepare AR aging reports and support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting


• Post AR transactions to the general ledger and assist with additional accounting tasks


• Support special projects and cross-functional accounting initiatives as needed

Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required


• 5+ years of experience in an accounting role required for the Staff Accountant position


• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting


• CPA strongly preferred for the Staff Accountant role


• NetSuite experience strongly preferred


• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
