Responsibilities

Own U.S. payroll processing and support HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
Support payroll audits, reporting, and the maintenance of internal controls.
Collaborate with HRIS (Workday or similar) and payroll systems; leverage advanced Excel skills for analysis.
Contribute to scaling HR operations in a fast-growing or entrepreneurial environment.
Maintain a proactive, professional approach in a lean, fast-paced setting.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in payroll and HR operations in a professional services environment, required.
Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll compliance, federal/state/city taxes, and multi-state payroll, required.
Experience with payroll audits, reporting, and internal controls, required.
Experience with Workday or similar HRIS; advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), required.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to operational excellence.
Previous exposure to scaling HR operations in a fast-growing or entrepreneurial environment.
Professional, proactive, and able to take initiative in a lean, fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role is $100,000-$110,000.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
