
Talent Services Specialist

Your Purpose
As a Talent Services Specialist, you’ll deliver high-quality, efficient support across payroll, benefits, and the full team member lifecycle. You’ll leverage HRIS systems and data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and insight, while creating a seamless, positive experience for every team member you support. Your work will directly strengthen our People Operations foundation, helping us scale with confidence, consistency, and care.
What You’ll Do
Process weekly payroll with precision, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
Manage payroll adjustments, reporting, and resolve team member inquiries with a service-first mindset
Maintain and optimize HRIS data integrity; generate reports and insights (turnover, compa-ratio, compliance)
Support the full team member lifecycle—from onboarding through offboarding and benefits transitions
Administer benefits programs, including life-event support, education, and open enrollment
Manage leave of absence programs (FMLA, personal leave, and more) and ensure proper documentation and compliance
Handle workers' compensation and unemployment claims in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
Identify and drive process improvements across payroll, benefits, and HR systems
What You Bring
Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred). Additional relevant experience will be considered instead of formal education
3–5 years of experience in payroll processing for an organization with 100+ employees
Hands‑on experience with HRIS systems (Paycom strongly preferred)
Exposure to benefits administration and broader HR operations
Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, compliance regulations, and benefits administration
High attention to detail with a track record of accuracy
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and report on HR data
Excellent organizational and time management skills in a high-volume environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to navigate HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools effectively
Critical thinker who can solve problems and improve processes

Compensation & Benefits
Total Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 annually
