Role Overview
A GLOBAL manufacturing corporation is searching for an Accounting Team Lead candidate to support their accounting department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts payable function and general accounting. This position will be a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operation for the accounts payable team.
Review invoice entries and execute into the ERP.
Review vendor invoices and prepare payments.
Investigate and resolve payment exceptions.
Manage vendor inquiries and address their needs.
Ensure policies, rules, regulations, procedures are followed.
Identify, analyze and prepare journal entries to general ledger accounts.
Lead preparation of financial statements and forecasts.
Manage month-end, year-end closing, tax preparation, and audit.
Conduct training of team members.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
5+ years of previous work experience in accounting.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with ERP systems.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Able to understand technical forms and financial reports.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to become proficient in company information system.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform regular physical activity.
