What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Accounting, you will support financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls (SOX), and analysis for corporate and segment headquarters. This role includes responsibilities aligned with publicly traded company requirements, including SEC reporting and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage general ledger accounting for corporate and segment headquarters cost centers, including journal entries and month‑end close
Oversee accounting areas such as debt, interest expense, lease accounting, incentive compensation, capitalized software, and treasury‑related activities (derivatives, investments)
Maintain corporate and segment ledgers within the consolidation system
Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Handle intercompany expense allocations, including analysis and variance resolution with division teams
Partner with FP&A to analyze monthly spend and performance vs. budget, including ad‑hoc analysis
Support quarter‑end and year‑end reporting for board and external reporting purposes
Contribute to SEC reporting by drafting disclosures and collaborating with accounting leadership and legal teams
Perform tie‑outs for SEC filings and investor materials (earnings releases, presentations, call scripts)
Coordinate accounting activities for select corporate legal entities with external partners
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting and/or public company experience strongly preferred)
CPA or active progress toward certification
Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP and consolidation systems
Solid understanding of financial reporting and internal controls (SOX)
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
Continuous improvement mindset with adaptability in a dynamic environment
