
Junior Accountant

The Junior Staff Accountant supports core day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. This role helps ensure accurate and timely financial information that supports business operations and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries during monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Reconcile key general ledger accounts, including cash, AP, AR, inventory, and accruals
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reports
Support analysis of variances and financial trends, helping identify key drivers
Process and support AP and AR transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Assist with inventory accounting activities, including cycle counts and reconciliations
Maintain fixed asset records and assist with depreciation calculations
Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and complete financial data
Help maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
Support audit requests, tax filings, and other compliance-related deliverables
Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvements as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
1–3 years of accounting experience (internships included)
Understanding of basic GAAP and core accounting principles
Experience with accounting/ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
Onsite, office-based role
Regular collaboration with operations and finance teams
Fast-paced environment with monthly close cycles and deadlines
