Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.
Assembles, repairs, maintains and moves furniture, such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings.
Conducts routine visual inspection of HVAC units, replaces filters and identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs to Manager.
Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to Manager.
Performs custodial tasks.
Cleans oil and water spills around molding machines to keep trip and slip hazards.
Assists with structural pest control measures.
Monitors facility maintenance inventory and supplies.
Assists with special events, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Ability to operate all equipment in the department.
Working knowledge of good hygiene and sanitation practices.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Education And Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
One (1) year of relevant work experience preferred.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
Exposure to machine noise.
Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.
Working conditions are normal for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
This role may require walking in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
