Technician Level I

Performs ongoing preventive maintenance of assembly fixtures, updates the maintenance database and documentation as needed.

Maintains critical equipment list and inventory supplies to minimize line downtime. Orders supplies as needed.

Ensures facility adheres to OSHA, Building Code, and LEED Standards while performing basic building repairs and audits; prioritizes Safety and Ergonomic tasks.

Cross‑trains other associates, supports hands‑on experiences, and updates training materials as needed. Back ups facilities personnel when needed.

Completes Role Standard Work and delivers all other duties as assigned.

Technician Level II

Performs ongoing preventive maintenance of workstations, equipment, and machinery according to specifications to ensure quality products are built; updates the maintenance database and documentation as needed.

Writes and maintains equipment maintenance procedures and operating instructions.

Conducts daily routine checks throughout the building to ensure that it and the equipment are in good working condition; reports any concerns to management immediately.

Conducts Safety Programs and Critical Processes training and supports documentation updates; provides assistance during building emergencies.

Ensures facility adheres to OSHA, Building Code, and LEED Standards while performing intermediate‑level building repairs, installation, and audits.

Includes Level I Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

Technician Level III

Troubleshoots and evaluates line‑down issues, recommends solutions, and works interdepartmentally or with contractors; researches new facilities equipment.

Adheres to OSHA, Building Code, and LEED Standards while performing building repairs, installations, modifications, and audits; may flex schedule to supervise or perform activities outside regular business hours.

Ability to identify and resolve problems, exhibit sound and accurate judgment, follow safety and security procedures, provide recommendations and improvements, and communicate unsafe or risky situations immediately.

Education and Experience

Experience with forklift/scissor lift.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar software.

Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet research.

10 hours of OSHA, fire extinguisher, fall protection, fire sprinklers, building code, and LEED knowledge.

Technician Level I Qualifications

Associate’s degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school, plus basic knowledge of electricity, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and similar facilities repairs.

Technician Level II Qualifications

Three or more years of related experience doing facilities repairs and installations in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofing, concrete, and similar.

Experience with machine guarding, welding certification, heavy equipment, and similar preferred.

Technician Level III Qualifications

Six or more years of related experience doing facilities repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofing, concrete, painting, patching, and similar.

Experience of 2+ years with machine guarding, welding certification, heavy equipment, and similar.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Regularly required to stand, walk, go up and down stairs, ladders or ramps, kneel, squat, crawl; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.

Occasionally required to sit and work at a desk or computer.

Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 lbs.; occasionally 35 lbs.

Must be able to operate a forklift and/or elevated work platform and similar heavy‑duty equipment.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and chemicals; must wear PPE as needed.

Noisy level is usually moderate.

Duties may require working under sun/rain or exposed to outdoor weather.

Hourly Range
$26/hr - $31/hr
