Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Ryder is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator in Franklin, IN — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Pay and Schedule
Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote, and stage products; load and unload trucks.
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator’s License (certified).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
Capability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Demonstrates high accuracy even under pressure and uses health and safety methods.
Must be available to work on a flexible schedule across various work shifts.
