
Senior Logistician

SHINE Systems is seeking a Senior Logistician to serve as the Site Lead and primary logistics professional supporting our customer. This role is responsible for managing logistics operations and coordinating administrative support activities to ensure effective supply chain management, property accountability, and mission support.
Responsibilities
Provide full-spectrum material management support, including administering supply programs, maintaining property accountability, managing stock records, and processing requisitions
Conduct research and prepare documentation for micro-purchases; support cataloging and open-source supply program reviews
Coordinate logistics and supply chain operations across multiple offices; support the SCS Property Book Officer with inventory and accountability
Recommend actions related to equipment repair/return, bench-stock replenishment, and transportation requirements
Coordinate movement of equipment and materials across locations, including worldwide shipping
Support shipping and handling of U.S. Government property (packing, unpacking, courier coordination, tracking)
Serve as liaison with internal/external stakeholders to support logistics operations
Partner with customers and leadership to improve property accountability and logistics performance
Identify gaps in logistics planning/execution and recommend corrective actions
Support development of guidance, reports, and participation in cross-functional initiatives
Represent SCS in supply/logistics working groups
Provide technical guidance to leadership and staff on logistics challenges
Assist with preparation of Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (DD Form 200)
Support warehouse operations (receiving, storage, issuing, accountability, preservation)
Perform hands-on warehouse tasks: receiving, inspecting, inventorying, loading/unloading, storing, issuing, delivering, turn-in, and disposal
Required Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in government logistics and supply chain management
Knowledge of government logistics policies and procedures, preferably within DoD and/or the Intelligence Community
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Familiarity with OSHA regulations
Experience with government property management and warehouse/storage operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community
Knowledge of OSHA compliance requirements
Experience managing government property programs and warehouse environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Required Security Clearance
TS/SCI with CI Poly
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred
