- Coverage Model: Solo coverage
- Frequency: Vacation coverage; ongoing 1-2 times per quarter
- Setting: Hospital-based OB only (no clinic)
- Emergency privileges available
- Board Certified or Board Eligible - OB/GYN
- Comfortable with independent, solo 24-hour OB call
- Confident with:
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- Comfortable responding to unscheduled OB presentations
- Flexible for short-notice coverage
- Routine and emergent OB coverage
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- OB call for planned births and walk-ins
- No scheduled high-risk cases during coverage
- High-risk cases managed onsite as needed
- Staff schedules vacations around known high-risk deliveries
- Monthly deliveries:
- Oct 2025: 30
- Nov 2025: 21
- Dec 2025: 29
- Jan 2026: 33
- Case mix: Vaginal deliveries + C-sections
- Callback frequency varies based on volume
