The Registration Team Leader supervises the daily activities of the Patient Registration staff at St. Joseph's and Candler Hospitals, prepares staffing schedules, maintains adequate staffing levels, and assists with training/quality monitoring.

College Diploma of Management - Preferred

1-2 Years Supervisory - Required
1-2 Years Medical Insurance Knowledge - Required

Core Job Functions
Does daily rounding in registration areas. Resolves technical and personnel issues within established time frames. Monitors quality, time of service collections and patient wait times.
Resolves technical and personal issues timely. Promotes cooperation and team work. Monitors co-workers activity to ensure production standards are met daily.
Provide instruction/ teaching when needed.
Prepares and maintains the department schedules. Assures that Active Staffer and payroll system match at the end of each month. Communicates schedule changes as appropriate.
Reviews and approves/denies all co-worker PTO requests. Maintains adequate staffing levels in all areas. Maintains open communication with co-workers regarding call-ins.
Reviews quality and quantity activity using available reporting tools. Initiates appropriate co-worker counseling and re-training when necessary. Provides ongoing technical training.
