
Team Leader, Pt. Registration

Responsibilities
Supervises daily activities of Patient Registration staff at St. Joseph's and Candler Hospitals.
Prepares staffing schedules and maintains adequate staffing levels.
Assists with training and quality monitoring.
Does daily rounding in registration areas.
Resolves technical and personnel issues within established time frames.
Monitors quality, time of service collections, and patient wait times.
Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
Monitors co-workers activity to ensure production standards are met daily.
Provides instruction/teaching when needed.
Prepares and maintains department schedules; ensures Active Staffer and payroll system match each month; communicates schedule changes.
Reviews and approves/denies all co-worker PTO requests; maintains adequate staffing levels and open communication regarding call-ins.
Reviews quality and quantity activity using reporting tools; initiates appropriate co-worker counseling and re-training; provides ongoing technical training.
Education
College Diploma of Management - Preferred
Experience
1-2 Years Supervisory - Required
1-2 Years Medical Insurance Knowledge - Required
License & Certification
