Business Development Manager — Construction / Architectural Systems
Privately held manufacturer of engineered architectural systems serving commercial, institutional, and infrastructure markets across North America.

Partners with architects, contractors, and end users to deliver custom solutions across canopies, walkways, transit, and building envelope applications.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the President, this is a player-coach sales leadership role focused on driving growth across national B2B construction segments.

You will lead an inside sales team (8) while owning pipeline development, market expansion, and revenue performance .

Key Responsibilities

Build and execute strategic growth plans

Lead and develop inside sales team performance

Coach deals and improve pipeline quality + closing effectiveness

Drive forecasting accuracy and revenue predictability

Partner with marketing on lead generation and conversion

Leverage CRM, data, and AI tools to enhance performance

Ideal Profile

B2B sales leadership experience in construction, building materials, or architectural products

Proven track record of driving growth and improving sales performance

Experience leading and developing sales teams (inside or hybrid)

Strong player-coach mindset (strategy + execution)

Data-driven with strong pipeline and forecasting discipline

High ownership, accountability, and executive presence
