Job Description
Aramark Student Nutrition provides food and nutrition services to over 350 school districts in the U.S., offering a variety of dining options and nutrition education to public and private schools.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $80,000–$90,000. This is Aramark’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
Communications

Strategic Communication Development: Create and implement communication strategies that support organizational goals and strengthen engagement with internal and external audiences.

Community Engagement: Act as a liaison between the organization and the community, ensuring transparent communication with parents, teachers, and students.

Business to Consumer Communication: Craft compelling narratives that convey the organization’s mission, impact, and value to community members, parents, students, and partners.

Content Creation: Develop high‑quality communication materials including newsletters, presentations, announcements, promotional content, and digital media. Engage with onsite Marketing and line‑of‑business teams as appropriate.

Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison to community partners, translating complex programs and initiatives into clear, accessible messaging.

Presentation Development & Delivery: Build and deliver high‑impact presentations to support sales, district leadership communication, and community engagement.

Feedback & Listening Channels: Implement systems for gathering stakeholder insights to continually refine messaging and communications strategy.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including operations, sales, nutrition, and leadership—to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging.

Project & Program Management

Project Planning & Coordination: Support planning and execution of major initiatives such as program launches, account openings, and strategic projects.

Contract Support: Work with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, assess risks, and contribute communication materials for proposals.

Data & Program Analysis: Review and synthesize data (e.g., financial models, client reviews, performance indicators) to inform communication strategies and project decisions.

Operational Documentation: Manage information‑gathering processes such as client meeting presentations, site surveys, and program design inputs.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance communication workflows and project execution processes, promoting standardization and efficiency.

Relationship Management: Build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders through proactive communication and dependable follow‑through.

Qualifications

Proven experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or related areas.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor messages to diverse audiences.

Strong presentation development and delivery skills for wide audience types, including community, public boards, and executives.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear, actionable messaging.

Experience collaborating across functional teams.

Formal project‑management experience is desired.

Bachelor’s degree required.
