4x10, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with on-call requirements and one weekend per month.
Job Description
We are seeking a certified Surgical Technologist with a strong background in trauma and neuro surgeries. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess the necessary experience to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric through adult patients.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
Assist Surgeons and surgical staff by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and maintain inventory of surgical supplies.
Adhere to patient safety and infection control protocols.
Participate in the preparation and transportation of patients pre- and post-operative.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must be a certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA or NCCT certification).
Minimum of 2 years of surgical scrub experience required.
Experience with trauma and neuro procedures is mandatory.
BLS certification is required.
Experience with general and robotic surgeries, specifically with the DiVinci robot, is advantageous.
