Coverage Needed

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Day coverage from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Night coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Clinical Details

• 40-bed Level III NICU
• Staffing Model: 6 full-time Neonatologists
  • Day coverage: 2 Neonatologists
  • Night coverage: 1 in-house Neonatologist
• Transport: Nurse-driven team with physician oversight (avg. 15 transports/year)
• Procedures & Services: High-frequency ventilation (HFOV & HFJV), Inhaled nitric oxide, Therapeutic hypothermia with aEEG, Pediatric surgical patients
  • No ECMO or cardiac surgery (except PDA ligations)
• NICU Admissions: 130 (YTD through April 2025)
• NICU Average Daily Census (ADC): 14.3
• Nursery ADC: 24.2

Requirements

• Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
• Cannot accept providers who have not been clinically active for 1 year
• Providers must have at least 6 months of clinical experience within the specialty
• VA license required
• Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month)
• CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
