Locum tenens opportunity
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible vascular surgeon
ASAP start - ongoing need
Active Illinois license required (IMLC not accepted)
Clean background required
Rush credentialing; temporary privileges will be requested
This role supplements an existing team - coverage is sporadic with variable shift dates
Preference for local providers due to flexible/as-needed schedule
Practice setting:
- Busy, well-established vascular surgery program with continued growth
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- Must perform both open and endovascular procedures
Clinical expectations:
- Average census: 5-10 patients per day
- Approximately 6 outpatient elective procedures
Support:
- 1 APP + nursing staff in clinic
- 2 APPs assisting with inpatient rounding
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday clinic: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Night call (not nightly)
- Some 24-hour weekend call coverage
