Job Description
THIS IS A 100% ON-SITE POSITION – Remote Work Not Available
Scope
The PACS Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, optimization, and support of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and related imaging informatics platforms. In our specialized cancer treatment environment, this role ensures that high-volume diagnostic, interventional, and follow-up imaging studies are securely stored, rapidly accessible, and seamlessly integrated with our electronic health record (EHR), radiation oncology planning systems, and multidisciplinary care teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a patient-centered focus to support timely diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring for our oncology patients while maintaining the highest standards of data security, regulatory compliance, and system uptime.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Management, Radiology Technology, or a related field. However, equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferably 3–5 years of hands-on experience working as a PACS Administrator or in a similar imaging informatics role, preferably in a hospital or cancer center environment.
Strong working knowledge of PACS systems (experience with GE, Siemens, Philips, Sectra, or Change Healthcare is a plus).
Solid understanding of DICOM, HL7, and IHE standards, as well as RIS and EHR integration.
Experience supporting high-volume radiology workflows and familiarity with oncology imaging protocols is highly preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a clinical setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’ll be working closely with both technical and clinical teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining attention to detail.

CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional)
PARCA CPAS or equivalent
Any vendor-specific PACS certifications
