• Position Type: Locum tenens (travel contract / travel PA job)
• Specialty: Neurology - 100% Adult Inpatient (Neurology PA)

• Shift: PRN coverage, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour days)
• Estimated Weekly Hours: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks (July 1, 2026 - September 30, 2026)
• Patient Volume: 10-15 adult patients per day
• Team: 1 physician onsite at a time; group includes 3 physicians and 2 APPs

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,510 - $4,160 (competitive locum tenens pay)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Physician Assistant (PA) - NCCPA Board Certified (required)
• Active Ohio PA license preferred; candidates obtaining Ohio licensure will be considered
• ACLS certification (required)
• ENLS (Emergency Neurological Life Support) certification highly preferred
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of submission (required)
• Minimum: 1 year of experience as a PA in a hospital or neurology inpatient setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based inpatient neurology care to adult patients
• Participate actively in code stroke response team and acute stroke workflows
• Interpret radiologic exams (unofficial) and communicate findings with the team
• Collaborate with neurologists, APPs, nursing, and multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, plans, and procedures accurately in Epic Carepath EMR
• Support efficient patient flow and contribute to a positive team environment
