
Senior IT Project Manager

Senior IT Project Manager leads the overall coordination, stability, and delivery of complex, cross-functional software development initiatives that support business priorities across Raising Cane’s. This role owns the full project lifecycle, ensures issue resolution and delivery excellence, establishes project management practices, and mentors project management talent in support of department goals, vision, and strategy.
Responsibilities
Lead medium to large, cross-functional software development projects from initiation through completion
Own issue resolution across all phases of the project lifecycle to maintain project stability and delivery
Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans, schedules, scope, budgets, and resource estimates
Assist in financial analysis, project costing, and budget planning in partnership with business stakeholders
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet defined quality and success criteria
Measure project progress, identify deviations from plan, and take corrective action as needed
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues before they impact delivery
Provide clear, timely project status updates to sponsors, functional leaders, and steering committees
Define project roles and expectations and lead cross-functional teams, including vendors and consultants
Establish and implement project management standards, methodologies, tools, and best practices
Facilitate project reviews, evaluations, and continuous improvement outcomes
Mentor and develop team members to strengthen execution capability
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in a Project Manager role, including 5+ years leading software development initiatives
Bachelor's degree in a related field and PMP certification
Deep understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall and tools including Jira and MS Project
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coach project team members
Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion in a time-sensitive environment
Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple shifting priorities
Flexibility to operate during non-standard business hours and weekends as project needs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting a multi-unit Restaurant or retail organization
Travel Requirements
