Location: Plainsboro, NJ
Hours: Per diem (as per need basis). Day S, shift - 7 am - 3:30 pm, Mon - Fri, hours can range from 8 hrs - 32 hrs depending on needs. Some weekend availability needed due to special project work.
Summary:
Responsible for managing par level inventory, scanning, cycle counting, requisitioning, and delivering of supplies to complete the distribution cycle. Role will also function as a full-service customer service representative to clinical staff for any/all materials needs.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for scanning, delivering, cycle counting, managing expirations and overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the nursing par levels as per JCAHO standards.
Actively participates in value analysis process and ensures that new products are implemented within the defined process.
Supports customer service and performance improvement goals of the department; collaborates with other caregivers/staff, within and outside of the department, to develop means for enhancing patient care and customer service.
Participates in unit compliance as related to establishing standards and other duties and projects as assigned.
Must keep Logistics Manager and/or Inventory Resource Manager informed of all situations and/or problems that may potentially lead to the inability of him/her to perform daily tasks.
Must keep Logistics Manager and/or Inventory Resource Manager informed of complaints pertaining to products or service.
Provide a high level of customer service to nursing units on a daily basis. Ensures clean utility rooms are kept uniform and labeled properly. Assist clinicians as dedicated customer service representative for all of Supply Chain. Nursing staff will rely on supply chain and direct their questions
eeds to appropriate department/member of Supply Chain and follow-up.
Remains actively engaged with assigned departments and informs nurse leadership of planned days off.
Responsible for prioritizing and triaging clinical needs/requests based on urgency throughout shift.
Responsible for replenishment of nurse servers, rotating the stock, etc.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
High School Graduate/GED required
2-4 years previous experience required
5-8 years previous experience preferred
Salary Range:
$17.75 - $28.33/Hourly
